      According to the laws of the Republic of Turkey, TAPU or Certificate of Ownership of Real Estate is the only official document confirming the transfer of ownership to a new owner. TAPU is issued only by the Land Cadastral Office. All information about the transaction is stored and archived in this state body.<\/h6>\n <\/blockquote>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

      TAPU contains information about the owner of the property, the location of the plot on which the complex or villa is built, the cadastral value, registration number, apartment number and floor. Also, a photo of all property owners is pasted into the TAPU. Multiple ownership is allowed. The maximum number of owners is up to 10 people.<\/p>\n

      The Certificate of Title (TAPU) in Turkey must be stamped at the bottom center of the page. The photo is located in the upper right corner. In some cases, it is allowed to issue a document without a photo.<\/p>\n

      TAPU comes in two colors and depends on the type of property. Red color TAPU is issued to owners of residential and commercial real estate (apartments, villas, houses, cottages). Blue TAPU is intended for land plots. The procedure for registration of ownership of real estate takes an average of 2-3 business days. <\/p>\n
